El Mezcal never disappoints. I've eaten here many times and I've never had a bad meal. Always great portion sizes. Food is great. Service is also very good.
Joy riding on the interstate near Steven's Point, WI, when I started to get hungry and saw the beautiful lights on the exterior of this Mexican restaurant (Oopsy-daisy, I forgot to take a photo of the restaurant exterior). I asked the server his favorite dish (as per my norm) and he picked the El Zarape. It was so good and the portion was enough for 2 people. I decided to order some Horchata and it was frothy! Are there Horchata cows in Wisconsin?!? (Just kidding). Seriously though, it was fresh, smooth, and delicious! I thought that this was going to be just another Mexican food place but then I took my first bite and loved the entire experience! I ordered the flan to go and I'm eagerly anticipating my treat later tonight...
Food was tasty. Service was great. Ambiance isn't great but is fine. Had house margaritas, Sol beers and fajitas.
Terrific food, great patio. I enjoyed the beans and rice a ton. Is recommend if you're in the mood for some classic Mexican food! :)
Food was delicious and tasty. Chips and salsa on tables were great. Salsa had a little kick- which was surprising...as most time the salsas are so mild. Portions are large, prices have been kept very reasonable. So many items to choose from- lots of vegetarian items, seafood, beef, carnitas, etc. Very attentive staff- nice space, can accommodate small and large groups. Great visit- we'll be back!
